Gourmet Franks/Brats in a Blanket

Serving Suggestion:
Gourmet presentation! Serve with green salad and corn on the cob.

Preheat:
Preheat oven to 400.

Thaw:
To thaw dough, immerse bag in bowl of hot tap water for 20 minutes. When soft and warm, remove dough from bag and knead for 5 seconds to bring dough to life.  Add a drop of oil to soften if necessary.


Create:
Roll out dough into rectangular form (do not use flour). Cut dough into 4-6 strips. Wrap dough strips around franks (packaged/precooked) like a candy cane stripe and seal edges. Place on non-stick baking sheet. If desired, brush with egg wash: (1 beaten egg and 2 Tbsp. of water). Sprinkle with any combination of garlic salt, sesame seeds, poppy seeds, dried onion, parsley, pepper, etc. No rising necessary! Dough rises while baking!

Bake:
Bake immediately at 400 for 10 minutes or until golden brown (ovens may vary).

Enjoy:
Serves 6 (Franks) or 4 (Brats)
